About Julianna
Hello! My name is Julianna. I would describe myself as a natural caretaker and empath. I love helping others, caring for children, and spending time with animals!
I worked as an EEC certified childcare assistant in a home daycare and have since cared for many children in the comfort of their own homes. To provide the best care, I always keep my CPR and First Aid certification up-to-date. My top priorities when caring for children is that they feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves.
My time spent volunteering (and then, eventually working as Volunteer Coordinator) at a non-profit therapeutic horse farm taught me how to better meet those needs. Not only did I get the opportunity to care for incredible horses, I learned techniques to better communicate and meet the needs of children (and adults!). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my pets were a source of comfort for me, however, it wasn’t until I was 23 that I started working with horses and I can honestly say that they have changed my life!
In addition, to childcare and time spent with animals, I was also a PCA. That included caring for the physical needs of my grandmother as well as taking her to appointments, grocery shopping, and cleaning. I love cleaning. I love a good before and after! It’s such a great feeling to have a clean space to live, work, and relax. Not only do I clean, but I am also a certified organizer. I’ve taken care of the best and worst of homes. I approach every situation with kindness and compassion because I understand life can get the best of us and a little (or a lot!) of help is needed.
Someday I hope to own my own therapeutic horse farm that will provide healing services for the community but, until then, I’ve combined all my experiences ‘under one roof’ and promise to help others in the best ways I know how!

About Dave
Dave here! I was born and raised in Pittsfield and have spent the majority of my life as a passionate performer and private lessons instructor for guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and beginner piano. I received my B.A. in Jazz performance for guitar from U-Mass Amherst in 2001 before I explored some cool adventures teaching conversational English in France and playing guitar for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Once I recovered from my sea legs, I spent the next five years or so teaching and performing in the Pittsfield area including the Berkshire Music School, Wood Brothers and BCC for teaching as well as for Berkshire Theater Group and Barrington Stage Co. for performing (besides the countless other bands).
In 2013, I decided to try my luck in Denver where I also taught and performed, most notably, for Jamplay.com and with the band Pandas and People. My time spent in the Rockies was great, but ultimately it was time to come home and what better time to move across country and rebuild your life than just two weeks before the pandemic hit.
Since then, I’ve continued to play and teach out of my own practice, dB’s Music Lessons and it turns out that running your own business forces you to learn a plethora of admin skills and the time has come for me to use my skills to help make your life easier!
For the past nearly 20 years, I’ve been essentially teaching and performing full time which, as it turns out, running your own business requires you to learn various administrative skills. Skills that I’m happy to offer up to anyone in need! And if you’re interested in music lessons, click the button below!
